(Yikes, it's been a while since this page ever got updated. Although I haven't really done any original midis in a while, there's still a huge back catalog of music I made for various of my games that deserve to be showcased here, which I'll get around to sort out and upload in the near future.)
(Some of this music won't sound quite good on your standard run of the mill MIDI devices that come on soundcards nowadays, especially when there are many notes playing at once. A program like Synthfont would be recommended to play some of these songs and fix playback problems you might have with these. Anyway, good listening!)
BIO (OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT)
Amateur music writer and sequencer ever since the age of 15, I've also made some freeware games under the nickname Junkman.
Since I'm a great fan of ambient or atmospheric music, a lot of my work obviously have ambient influences (Suspended Memories, Tangerine Dream, Aphex Twin, Steve Roach, Autechre, Robert Rich, Brian Eno just to name a few) but I also make music from some other styles as well: metal, pop, classical, rock and game music.
Save from ambient music, other influences of mine would have to be various artists of the demoscene, such as Alexander Brandon, Andrew Sega, Dan Grandpre and Peter Hajba just to name a few. Other bands which have majorly influenced my output would be Godspeed You Black Emperor, Dead Can Dance, Squarepusher, Primal Scream, The Orb and Future Sound of London.
This music is made with 100% mice and pushing random keyboard buttons, like Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V. No other external devices were harmed in this musical demonstration.
